Operations staff are responsible for running the equipment necessary to treat and disinfect wastewater in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Staff are on duty controlling the flow of wastewater from the District’s pumping stations through the treatment plant 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They monitor pumping equipment and tank levels throughout the plant as wastewater is transferred from one process to another. Operations staff are responsible for performing daily inspections throughout the plant to ensure all equipment is operating correctly, and are also responsible for the overall cleanliness of the District’s facilities.
